Payload Studio Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what Payload Studio is

Payload Company is a small video studio run by one person in South Korea. It is not an incorporated company. Contact: [email protected].

"Payload Studio" is our internal software. It is used only by Payload Company to manage the YouTube channels that we own. It is not offered to the public, and it never accesses anyone else's Google or YouTube account.

2. YouTube API Services

Payload Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using Payload Studio you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

Google's Privacy Policy applies to data handled by YouTube and Google: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

3. What information we access, collect and store

• Our own channels (with the channel owner's OAuth consent): videos, titles, descriptions, playlists, thumbnails, caption tracks, scheduling settings, and statistics and analytics for our own channels and videos.
• Comments on our own videos: the comment text and the commenter's public display name and comment ID, so that we can read and reply to viewers.
• Public information about other channels: public video titles and public view and subscriber counts that we look at for market research. We do not access any private data of other channels.
• We do not collect passwords, payment details, contact lists, location, or device identifiers from anyone through YouTube API Services.

4. How we use the information

• To upload our own videos and set their publish time, thumbnails, playlists, captions and translated titles and descriptions.
• To read comments on our videos and post replies. Comment text may be processed by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude, under our own subscription) to draft a reply. Video titles and descriptions may be processed the same way to translate them.
• To review the performance of our own channels and decide what to make next.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share this information with anyone. It is used only inside Payload Company. Apart from the AI processing described in section 4, it is not disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.

6. Storage and deletion

• Data is stored on the computer that runs Payload Studio, in our private backups, and (for our own channel statistics only) on a private dashboard that requires login. It is not published.
• Statistics about our own channels are kept as long as needed to plan our work.
• Comment text from viewers is removed from our working records within 30 days. We keep only the comment ID and date so that we do not reply twice.
• Statistics about channels we do not own are not kept in our working records for more than 30 days; after that they are removed or collected fresh.
• To ask us to delete information related to you, email [email protected]. We will reply and delete it within 30 days.

7. Cookies and this website

This website (payloadcompany.com) does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Payload Studio does not place cookies on anyone's device.

8. Revoking access

You can revoke Payload Studio's access to a Google account at any time on Google's security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. After access is revoked, we delete stored data that we obtained through that access within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
